What our jewelry is made of

Phoebe's jewelry is designed to look and feel luxurious at an accessible price. We are transparent about our materials:

18K gold plating over a base metal alloy or brass.
Stainless steel, often with 18K gold plating, used for chains, pins and pieces made for everyday wear.
Natural stones such as amethyst, labradorite, amazonite, black agate, obsidian and tourmaline. Each stone varies in color and pattern, so no two pieces are identical.
Freshwater and baroque pearls with natural variations in shape and luster. Some designs use acrylic or shell pearls; this is stated on each product page.
Cubic zirconia (CZ) and enamel details.

Our jewelry is not sterling silver or solid gold. Silver-colored pieces are silver tone or silver plated.

Put your jewelry on last, after perfume, lotion and hairspray.
Remove it before showering, swimming, exercising or sleeping.
Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after wearing.
Store each piece separately in its pouch or a dry box to avoid scratches and humidity.
Avoid harsh chemicals and jewelry dips, especially on pearls and natural stones.

With this simple care, plating keeps its shine much longer.
